A Night with James Treble | A Kave Home x SSB Event Recap
Style Sourcebook recently had the pleasure of co-hosting an exciting event with brand partner, Kave Home and Interior Designer and TV Presenter, James Treble. The event, ‘A Night with James Treble’, included plenty of design talk as James took guests through his inspiring insights and the latest design trends from the Milano Design Week.
In addition to the incredible presentation from James Treble and a look into the world of Kave Home beyond its products, we also presented our dynamic new tool, Project Studio. For those who couldn’t join us on the night, we’re recapping this inspiring event and the key takeaways from James’ Milano Design Week insights. Let’s dive in!

Held in Kave Home’s gorgeous showroom, located in Alexandria, NSW, the event kicked off with good food and even better conversation. It was fantastic to meet some designers from the Style Sourcebook community, who had traveled near and far to attend. It was also amazing to chat with the Kave Home team, explore the stunning pieces housed in the showroom, and learn more about their commitment to sustainability and innovative practices.

When it was time for the presentation and the guests secured their spots on the soft boucle sofas, James began to walk us through his insights from the Milano Design Week. And if you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting James Treble, then you’d know the treat we were in for with his animated recount of the upcoming trends he observed.
There was a mix of exciting new trends and twists on already loved interior design aspects with notes on everything from trending colours, such as tobacco, to striking patterns, organic shapes, strong materials, and of course, textures. Three-dimensional textures, to be specific.

Our Marketing Manager, Emilee, then had to opportunity to chat all things Style Sourcebook and our new tool for designers, Project Studio. With the tool launching ever so soon, we were fortunate enough to take a group of designers through the features of the tool and discuss how they’ll be able to implement Project Studio into their client projects.

The night continued with more socialising (and a bit of shopping, of course), as we toured the showroom and discussed upcoming furniture and décor ceoncepts. We were honoured to be part of such an inspiring event that created both education and conversation around the interior design industry and the exciting things to come.
Stay tuned for more exciting events and updates from Style Sourcebook.
