Style Sourcebook Profile: Bianco Design Co
With an eye for the beautiful things in life, Bianca from Bianco Design Co is an interior designer and stylist with captivating projects that reflect the design business’s sunny Gold Coast location. We came across Bianca’s fun, yet sophisticated mood boards on Style Sourcebook and the eventuated real-life projects, and knew we had to share them with you. Showcasing a combination of styles (such as contemporary, coastal, minimal and a touch of eclectic), Bianca is driven by her passion for transforming properties into dream homes. We recently had a chat with Bianca about her interior design business, where she finds inspiration and how she uses Style Sourcebook for projects.
Hi Bianca! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and Bianco Design Co?
I founded Bianco Design out of a love for beautiful design and the opportunity to transform spaces into ultimate dream homes. I have always appreciated the beautiful things in life such as art and fashion and creating a career in Interior Design felt like a very organic and well-suited path for me. I love to be creative and I love that my working week is always nuanced, I feel very blessed to do what I do each day!
How would you describe your design style?
My design style could be described as contemporary, coastal and minimal with an eclectic touch. I love fun artwork, colour and texture and I am not afraid to push boundaries.

How do you use Style Sourcebook as an Interior Designer and Stylist?
Style Sourcebook is an amazing tool that I use often to give my clients a visual into the spaces that I am designing for them. A lot of people are unable to envision spaces, hence hiring an Interior Designer - this allows them to get on the same page and accept the design and proposed furniture, art and decor that I have recommended.

What does your design process look like and where do you gain inspiration?
The design process always starts with a onsite meeting with the client, I like to get to know my clients and really understand the reason they are wishing to employ me. It is also really important to me that I am on the same page as my client design wise, we have to be the right fit and the connection has to be present. I gain inspiration from many different things, travel is a big one for me, also art galleries and exhibitions, Instagram, magazines and movies.
Do you have any exciting upcoming projects that you’d like to share with us?
I have just finished decorating a beautiful sub penthouse on the Gold Coast with the most incredible views. On more a personal note, my husband and I have just finished building our modern Mediterranean home which has kept me busy for the last year and a half. Upcoming projects include repeat clients (I previously styled their houses) who are now employing me for design and decoration services which is a real win for me! The client experience is everything for me and it makes me happy when they come back time and time again because I know I am doing the best possible job I can.
