Framed by large openings and soft coastal light, the swaying palm trees and Gold Coast skyline become part of the interior landscape in this Burleigh Heads coastal home. Crafted for relaxed sophistication, Solana Burleigh by Reece Keil Design captures the essence of modern coastal living, being open, airy, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

As we step inside, the home feels calm and sunlit. Creamy finishes reflect the coastal light, subtle textures add warmth, and greenery peeks in. It’s a palette that feels inspired by the surrounding landscape: soft sands, leafy palms, and the hazy blues of the ocean just moments away. The boundary between indoors and out feels almost invisible, with breezes, greenery, and sunshine flowing naturally through the space.

At the heart of the home sits the kitchen, perfectly positioned beside large openings that lead onto the balcony, allowing the swaying palm trees and Gold Coast skyline to become part of the design backdrop.

Cream cabinetry creates a soft, sunlit foundation, paired with a stone surface reminiscent of veined marble that introduces movement and texture. Leather-look brown stools line the island bench, adding warmth and grounding the lighter palette.

This neutral scheme continues into the dining area, where a large sculptural white dining table is paired with green leather-look benches, introducing a subtle coastal tone. Together, the materials, colours and clean lines create a balanced space that reflects the relaxed sophistication of modern coastal design.

There’s something about the living area’s colours and materials that brings a real sense of satisfaction. The soft white sofa, dark brown cushions, circular coffee table and elegant chandelier create a layered palette of light and depth, adding warmth while maintaining the home’s relaxed coastal aesthetic.

The bedroom continues the home’s sense of calm, with the same seamless connection to the outdoors. Large openings frame views of the balcony, allowing natural light to pour into the room. Is there a bigger dream than waking up to this view? A palette of cream and warm brown layers softness and warmth through textural bedding, natural materials and a sunlit feel.

Flowing on from the bedroom, the bathroom carries the same relaxed palette, creating a cohesive retreat. A double vanity is paired with two rectangular mirrors that reflect the light and enhance the sense of space, while creamy square tiles and stone-look walls make the space feel effortlessly connected.

Now it’s time to step outside. Large leafy plants frame the terrace, with olive sun loungers and parasols that give a playful Mediterranean touch. A generous dining table with chairs that echo the tones of the linen sofa from the living area creates a seamless visual connection between inside and out. The outdoor kitchen and BBQ add a laid-back feel homely feel to the outside space. With shimmering gold tiling that catches the sunlight, and olive-striped seating in the corner, it invites you to soak up the coastal atmosphere.
