The New Collections Interior Designers Are Loving in 2026
One of the best parts of introducing new collections to Style Sourcebook is seeing what happens across your mood boards after the launch. We love discovering the latest furniture, colours, rugs and homewares from our brand partners, but what we love even more is seeing how you use them!
Now that we're halfway through 2026, we thought it would be interesting to take a look back at some of the new collections that have captured your attention this year and explore how designers and renovators from our community have styled them in their mood boards.
From trend-led design and creative styling of pieces in our product library, these mood boards are packed with inspiration for your next project. Let's dive in and see how our Style Sourcebook community is styling 2026's most-loved new collections.

GlobeWest Collections 2026 | Curves, Character and Comfortable Living
If there was one furniture collection that immediately sparked creativity this year, it was GlobeWest Collections 2026 V2. We saw a move towards softer silhouettes, rich textures and pieces designed to feel as good as they look, like rounded forms, warm timber finishes and furniture that encourages you to slow down and sink in.

One mood board that instantly caught our eye was created by Flawless Interiors Melbourne, who styled the Hugo Rue 3 Seater Sofa in Poker Chestnut as the hero of a sophisticated mid-century-inspired living room. The rich chestnut upholstery feels right at home alongside walnut finishes, deep flooring and touches of pink that soften the overall palette. It feels moody, warm and incredibly inviting.
Then there's this beautiful scheme by On Cue Renovations, featuring the Andes Round Coffee Table in Mocha Oak. With soft greens, muted nudes and playful artwork, it creates a living room that feels fresh, uplifting and effortlessly relaxed.
While these mood boards showcase just a glimpse of GlobeWest Collections 2026, there are plenty more pieces ready to inspire your next project. From the sculptural Tova Occasional Chair and cocooning Plum Swivel Chair to the statement-making Helio Collection and architectural Talis Floor Sculpture, the collection is filled with thoughtful designs that bring warmth, texture and personality into contemporary interiors.
Mood Board Tip: When you're working with a statement furniture piece, start with your hero item, then pull colours, shapes or materials from it throughout the rest of your board. You'll create cohesion without making everything feel overly coordinated.
Dulux Colour Forecast 2026 | Colour With Personality
Every year, the Dulux Colour Forecast gets us excited about colour, and while the Dulux Colour Forecast 2026 was released last year, we're continuing to see its influence across mood board projects throughout 2026. Whether you've been drawn to the calming simplicity of Elemental, the dreamy softness of Ethereal, or the expressive confidence of Evoke, we've loved seeing how you've interpreted them in your own way.

Dulux Colour Forecast 2026 - Evoke Palette | Styling: Bree Banfield | Photographer: Lisa Cohen
One standout project comes from Zarper Interiors, who brought the Elemental palette to life in a stunning ensuite. Featuring Dulux Hog Bristle® Quarter, blue finger tiles and brushed gunmetal finishes, the space feels calm, refined and quietly luxurious. The warm neutral backdrop allows the blue tones to add colourful sophistication without overwhelming the room.
On the other hand, Evolve Creative Interiors embraced the moodier side of the forecast with a bedroom inspired by Dulux Misty Grape from the Evoke palette. Layered with plum tones, copper accents and marble finishes, the result feels rich, sophisticated and full of character. We've spoken about this before at SSB, but plum is definitely having a moment.
Beyond the colours featured in these projects, the Dulux Colour Forecast 2026 offers endless possibilities for creating spaces with personality and purpose. Whether you're drawn to the calming pastels of Ethereal, the grounded neutrals of Elemental, or the rich layered tones of Evoke, each palette provides a starting point for telling your own colour story through mood boards and real-life spaces.
Mood Board Tip: Colour trends are often at their strongest when paired with texture. Combine paint colours with natural stone, timber, brushed metals and tactile fabrics to create depth and use our mood board tool to explore what brings the palette to life.
Unitex x Emma Blomfield: Layering Texture with Rugs
Remember our Unitex x Emma Blomfield Mood Board Competition earlier this year? We loved seeing your mood boards, and the collection has been well-loved this year too!
Emma Blomfield’s collection introduced soft patterns, gentle colours and beautiful texture, making it the perfect foundation for layered interiors. We shared an interview with Emma earlier this year, and judging by the mood boards we've seen, many of you took Emma's advice on styling and started with the rug first.

Haus Studio Interiors created a gorgeous Mediterranean-inspired living room centred around the Rogue Linen Rug. Styled with textured white walls, rustic brick elements, sculptural furniture and greenery, the space feels relaxed, elevated and full of warmth.
Meanwhile, Project Four Interiors paired the Veil Blue Rug with rich chocolate tones, powder blue accents and contemporary furniture. Chocolate brown and soft blue is one of our favourite colour combinations of the year, and this mood board shows exactly why. It's cosy, fresh, and versatile.
The beauty of the Emma Blomfield x Unitex collection is its versatility. Alongside Rogue Linen and Veil Blue, the collection includes designs such as Plume Moss, Plume Oat, Haze Slate, Rogue Mist and more, making it easy to create cohesion across different rooms while still giving each space its own personality and sense of place.
Mood Board Tip: Think of your rug as the anchor of your room. Once you've selected it, use its colours and textures as clues for the rest of your scheme. It often makes selecting furniture, finishes and styling pieces much easier.
House of Walton | Soulful Styling
There’s one pattern we’ve seen rising in interiors recently, and that’s stripes. So, it’s no surprise that in House of Walton’s new collection, stripes have complemented mood boards perfectly. They're classic, playful, timeless and somehow always seem to make a space feel a little more relaxed.

Jas & Jac styled the Riley White Linen Patch Cushion within a beautiful living room featuring a moss green sofa, dark timber accents and layers of natural texture. The stripe introduces just enough pattern while still allowing the earthy palette to shine.
Then there's this gorgeous bedroom scheme pairing brown stripes with Darren Palmer's Origin Clay Rug. Layers of chocolate, ivory and stone create a bedroom that feels warm, cocooning and exactly the kind of space we want to retreat to during the cooler months.
Stripes may be a favourite, but they're only one chapter of House of Walton's Autumn Collection. Rich velvets, botanical prints, layered table linens and European-inspired homewares make it easy to create interiors that feel collected, soulful and full of seasonal warmth. Whether you're styling a living room, bedroom or dining space, the collection encourages layering, texture and plenty of personality.
Mood Board Tip: When styling stripes, think balance; pair them with organic textures like linen, timber, boucle and stone to create contrast. The mix of structured pattern and natural materials keeps a space feeling layered and relaxed.
Mood Board Inspiration from 2026's Most-Loved New Collections
One of the things we love most about our community is seeing how differently everyone approaches the same products. A sofa can become mid-century and moody. In the same way, a coffee table can feel soft and contemporary. Additionally, a rug can inspire a Mediterranean retreat or a colour-drenched living room. That's the magic of mood boards and the freedom to create a space that’s unique to you or your client. So whether you're drawn to sculptural furniture, expressive colour, timeless rugs or playful stripes, we hope these mood boards and collections have sparked a few ideas for your next design.
