Designed to complement the natural and architectural elements of Australian homes and commercial spaces, Collections 2025 blends rich textures with an understated earthy palette and impressive craftsmanship. Head of Creative at GlobeWest, Keti Lytras explains, “Shelter, in essence, speaks to one of my favourite quotes: ‘Home is not where you were born; home is where all your attempts to escape cease,’ spoken by Naguib Mahfouz. It’s about embracing a sanctuary filled with gratitude, enriched by organic and raw elements,” 

From their Melbourne-based creative hub, the Design and Product teams drew inspiration from retreat-like forms to craft a range that evokes a sense of calm, and as you explore through Collections 2025 Volume #02, it’s easy to see this concept has been completely achieved.

The collection fuses a refined mix of contemporary and modern designs, with each piece offering a timeless appeal that effortlessly adapts to and enhances a variety of interior styles. This versatility and flexibility are achieved through the forms, materials and colour palette featured within the collection. 

For example, an emphasis was placed on the comfort and softness of the new upholstery styles, adding to the inviting experience of the range. The designs are unique, yet still iconically GlobeWest as Collections 2025 seamlessly combines style and practicality, like the sofas which feature versatile modular designs and generous seating within streamlined silhouettes, offering a balance of form and function.

The designs are only further complemented by the colour palette. The earthy, muted tones bring an understated luxury that grounds the range of furniture. New chairs feature powder-coated frames in monochromatic tones, including bone, cashmere and matte syrah. You’ll also find plenty of depth and tranquillity in the organic toned fabrics, and rich walnut and smoked ash timbers, all of which work to enhance the overall range. 

When it comes to materials, we love how timeless selections have been reimagined with a fresh, contemporary twist. Think stainless steel meets sleek velvet, captivating marble meets textured weaves and speckled fabrics, each of which adds comfort, both visually and to the touch.

And, of course, we can’t look past the intriguing homeware that offers a range of striking accent pieces that are as functional as they are aesthetic. GlobeWest’s in-house design team drew inspiration from nature-inspired hues, which are brought to life through coloured glass, textured ceramics and plenty of earthy tones, such as russet and travertine.
