1 COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.1 Parties
a) The Promoter is Style Sourcebook Pty Ltd ABN 79 611 753 425 (Promoter).
b) The Sponsor is James Hardie Australia Pty Ltd ABN 12 084 635 558 (Sponsor)
c) The Judge is Rebeka Morgan from BuildHer Collective (Judge).
1.2 Competition Name & Dates
a) The competition is called “Mood Board Competition: Architectural Collection Facade” (Competition).
b) The Competition runs from 7:00pm AEST on Wednesday 7 June 2023 until midnight AEST on Wednesday 28 June 2023 (Competition Period).
c) The Competition winner will be announced on Style Sourcebook’s Instagram stories and website on Monday 3 July 2022 (Award Date).
1.3 Prize
a) The prize is $8,000 worth of James Hardie new Architectural Collection product (excl. GST) - Hardie™ Brushed Concrete Cladding and/or Hardie™ Oblique™ Cladding (Prize).
b) The Prize will be awarded to one individual participant who successfully enters the Competition in accordance with clause 1.4.
c) The Prize must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable, redeemable for cash or for resale. Prize includes single delivery to one Australian address. Does not include colour finish and installation. Stock is subject to availability.
d) The Prize must be redeemed before March 2024.
1.4 Entry & Conditions
a) Entry is open to any Australian resident over 18 years old excluding any staff members of the Promoter or Sponsor (Eligible Person).
b) An Eligible Person may enter the Competition by:
i Signing up with the Promoter via https://stylesourcebook.com.au/;
ii Creating a mood board via the Promoter’s mood board tool that 1) is an exterior facade design 2) includes at least 1 of the Sponsor’s products (Hardie™ Brushed Concrete Cladding and/or Hardie™ Oblique™ Cladding) within it;
iii Sharing the mood board on Instagram (with a public account setting) with the hashtags #CladYourHouseComp #stylesourcebook; and
iv Following via their Instagram account each of the following Instagram accounts @stylesourcebook @jameshardieau @buildhercollective
v Tagging @stylesourcebook @jameshardieau @buildhercollective on the image when posting to Instagram
vi When posting to Instagram, including a caption about why they would like to win the cladding shown in their mood board
c) An Eligible Person may enter the Competition more than once by submitting multiple mood boards in accordance with paragraph (b) above.
d) It is the exclusive responsibility of the Eligible Person to ensure that they have satisfied the entry conditions, and successfully created and shared their mood board.
e) For the avoidance of doubt, no entry fee will apply to enter the Competition and/or create a mood board on the Promoter’s platform.
1.5 Selection of Winner
a) The Competition is based on an Exterior Facade Design Mood Board.
b) The Judge will be responsible for judging and picking one winner from the mood boards submitted.
c) By the end of the Award Date, the Judge will select one winner.
d) The winner will be based on creative merit of the entrant’s mood board submission, and the Judges’ decision shall be made in their absolute discretion, shall be final and shall not be subject to review.
e) The winner will be announced on the competition page of the Promoter’s website and on the social media account of the Promoter.
f) The winner will be notified by direct message via their Instagram account that was used to submit the winning mood board and will be requested to confirm their acceptance of the Prize and provide relevant contact information.
g) If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize within 14 days of the notification under paragraph (f) above, then the Prize will be forfeited and Promoter may award the Prize to another entrant in their absolute discretion.
1.6 Delivery
a) The winner will be required to provide and confirm their email address and delivery address for James Hardie to contact and organise the arrangement and delivery of the prize. Prize must be redeemed within one product order and includes single delivery to one Australian address. Must be redeemed before March 2024.
b) Where requested, the Promoter reserves the right to request winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
c) The Prize will be sent to the winner’s nominated delivery address as provided and the winner notified of such once the Prize has been sent.
d) It is the winner’s exclusive responsibility to ensure that the delivery details provided are complete and correct, and the Promoter takes no responsibility in the event the Prize is not received due to inaccurate details being provided, or any other issues with delivery process outside of its control that may occur.
2. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
2.1 By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Competition Terms and Conditions.
2.2 The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify the Competition and/or these Competition Terms and Conditions. Any changes shall be effective immediately upon publishing on the Promoter’s website.
3 ENTRIES
3.1 All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the Competition Period will not be considered. No responsibility is taken for late or misdirected email, or technology issues.
4 PRIVACY
4.1 Any personal information contained in your entry is protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which is also available on this website. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes. You can contact our Privacy Officer if you would like details of the personal information that the Promoter may hold about you or if you would like it to be corrected. 5 INTERNET
5.1 If for any reason the Competition does not run for its duration of the Competition Period due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter is not responsible for any:
a) Malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
b) Failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter; nor
c) Any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or down loading any materials in a competition.
6 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as Prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
6.2 This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
7 GOVERNING LAW
7.1 This obligations of the parties under this document are legally binding and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
