There’s something deeply inspiring about a design studio built on the belief that great design should be for everyone. For Casa Culture, accessibility, warmth, and creativity are at the heart of every project. Founded with a mission to make interior design more attainable and less intimidating, Casa Culture blends considered style with real-life functionality, helping clients create homes that truly reflect who they are.
Based in Port Stephens in NSW, the founder Ciara enjoys working on projects across Port Stephens, Newcastle, and the Hunter region. Through online and virtual services, Casa Culture has reimagined how we experience interior design, proving that a personalised, thoughtful space doesn’t have to be out of reach. By using Project Studio, the studio brings its creative vision to life with clarity and ease, through streamlining workflows, saving valuable time, and allowing more focus on what really matters: crafting beautiful, meaningful interiors.
Whether it’s a detailed bathroom renovation or a full kitchen transformation, each design tells a story of balance between beauty and practicality, individuality and harmony. Casa Culture is more than a design studio; it’s a reminder that every home has the potential to feel intentional, inspiring, and completely yours. We sat down with Ciara to hear more about how Casa Culture began and to find out further insights into the design process.

Tell us a bit about Casa Culture and how it came to be.
Casa Culture started because I really wanted to make interior design more accessible. Design can sometimes feel like a luxury, but I believe everyone deserves a home they truly love. By offering online and virtual services, I’m able to save clients time while still giving them a considered and personalised design outcome.

How do you use Style Sourcebook and Project Studio within your design process?
Project Studio is honestly a super helpful feature for me. It helps me keep everything streamlined and organised, and it’s saved me so much time on each job. Having a clear system means I can spend more energy on the creative side of design while keeping the whole process smooth for my clients.

What design trends or movements are exciting you right now?
I’m really loving earthy tones at the moment, they bring such a calming, natural feel into a space. But I’m also excited to see people embracing colour again. Homes are starting to feel more bold and expressive, and I love the character that adds.

Can you tell us about your design studio and the types of projects you work on?
I focus mostly on residential design, and I especially love working on bathroom and kitchen renovations. Those spaces are such big investments with tiles, hardware, and joinery; they’re not as easy to swap out as a cushion or a piece of art. That’s what makes it so rewarding to get the design just right from the start.

What does a typical day look like in your studio?
Every day looks a little different, but usually it’s a mix of pulling together concepts, sourcing finishes, and preparing 3D visuals to help people picture their space. I also spend time coordinating with suppliers and builders to make sure everything runs smoothly.
