Technically Briana Forster, far more comfortable as Bri. I'm full of life, up for a laugh + down to earth. What you see is what you get + I'm extremely proud of this characteristic. I grew up with a family deeply entrenched in the building game. My love of interiors, colour + the creative was founded at a young age as I watched my parents renovate + build homes in Brisbane + Noosa Heads. A little back story: With over a decade at the helm of Watermelon Red; a busy retail space, online shop + design studio (all whilst renovating two houses, running a farm, having a baby, manufacturing a clothing range, internationally sourcing homewares + trying to be everything to everyone) I was done. I was run ragged, sleeping sporadically, on a constant 24/7 go go go! It was impossible for me to 'switch off' + life had become focussed on the administrative day to day of running a business whilst it appeared the creativity + colour of the industry I loved was slowly seeping away. ⁠ ⁠ So I decided to simplify.⁠ ​ In 2019, after the sale of the retail space + online store, I decided to commit to creating an Interiors Studio. I rebranded my Styling services and launched Briana Forster Design. ⁠ My life is now filled with the things I love most: Family, Design + Travel. I have the flexibility to be a mum + also a warrior worker. I'm not ashamed to say I love to work. I get a kick out of seeing my projects come to life + at the same time I love being able to contribute to my family. ⁠ The past 15 years have seen me working extensively from concept to completion on mid to high end homes across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne + Sydney creating beautiful, liveable spaces, filling them with furniture + treasures to enjoy for years to come. As a Freelance Stylist I get to fill my days revelling in Australian design, creativity + colour, bringing this all together for my clients. How good is that?!?!?⁠ I love to create spaces that are refreshing + colourful, evocative + sensory, relaxed + liveable. ⁠ I get such a kick out of turning my clients houses into homes; spaces that have all the 'feels' + set the scene for creating perfect memories. I firmly believe you can never have too much ‘gorgeous’ + choose to create beautiful unique spaces that are inspired from my myriad of global travels.
