The rod is 900mm in length and can be shortened by your electrician to the desired length.

If your ceiling fan is being install on a ceiling higher than 9ft then an extension rod is a must. Ceiling fans can lose up to 20% of their effectiveness if they are installed in rooms with high ceilings without using an extension rod.
